They say your real life starts when you realize you have one!
And I’m becoming increasingly aware of the worth of this experience.
But that awareness is only met with gratitude on my better days.
Mostly I live in fear of getting it right.
Though I know mistakes are unavoidable,
Still I find myself doing everything I can to avoid them.
Walking the line between knowing better and doing better.
Finding the distinction between a mistake and a habit.
A voice tells me to be patient.
That I can’t waste my life trying to be perfect,
Because if I were, then Nature wouldn’t have any material to work with.
The voice tells me to go easy.
That some lessons can only be learned through experience.
And some truths are only revealed in time.
We can’t always be moving forward.
We can’t always be rising and achieving in the world.
There are times when life demands a certain stillness.
To reflect on the places we have been, acknowledge the now that we are in,
and understand the where that we are going.
You only learn as much as you’re meant to in a lifetime.
And One life is not enough time to understand the entirety of it.
So despite how you may feel, understand that you will never run out of time.
You are here for that which you are purposed and you will achieve all that you are meant to. So relieve yourself of the pedestal you always seem to find yourself on.
If you think no one understands, understand that you have experienced something that
someone else hasn’t struggled to overcome.
In the infinity of existence lies countless lives accompanied by their own trials.
Fear and uncertainty are not exclusive to your experience.
They are only a reminder that you are member to an infinite family of people doing our best to find certainty in an uncertain world.
So maybe faith looks like doubting your doubts,
trusting your intuition,
and allowing yourself the lessons only mistakes can teach.
