Hey there! My name is Ayush Saraf. I am doing Architecture from North Eastern hill University, Shillong,, Meghalaya. I have been called a poet, storyteller, writer, traveller, reader, digital nomad and vegetarian. But deep inside, I am just a guy who seeks for anything that sets my soul on fire!
What I am upto?
The soul purpose of 'Meraki Tales' is to share my perspective and experience about everything that comes in the journey of my life. I’m working towards new passion project and putting my hands into freelance writing to reach a wider audience on topics close to my heart like lost art-space, travelling and looking to collaborate with enthusiastic bloggers who inherit the art and passion of showing their side of perspective to the world.
How travelling fascinates me?
Since my childhood, I remember my family used to travel atleast once every year. My dad always motivated me to travel as much as I can. According to him, "Travelling is a self-enlightenment journey. More a person travels, more he learn about his inner self."
That version of self- enlightenment came in my path when I planned a solo trip to Haridwar, Uttarakhand for the first time. The mountains, The soothing Ganga, tradition and culture of that very place made me realize that Travelling is something that connects me with my inner soul.
Moreover, I always try to keep in mind that its not always about the places we been to; Sometimes its about the people, their tradition and culture that fascinates us more...
